The Kickdrums

I really like music. I really like and repsect music producers. I think they're unbelievable. It usually takes some good music for me to get excited about some producers. I finally got a CD i bought online last week. The band is producers are called The Kickdrums. They have been around for a while but now I think they're going to blow up. They kind of have a old kind of style mixed with a new dance/house/hip hop flow. I really love this. It's crazy. I think they're trying to make and sing their own music too. They generally work with hip hop artist. Here is a video to there new single. It's relaxing and i love it.

Well i'm pretty sure i will be doing my presentation on MLG, Major League Gaming. I consider myself an expert on it since i've been part of there organization since about the summer of 2005. I've been a pro player in Halo 2 for two years and and semi-pro in Halo 3 for half an event. I've been a online fourm moderator for about a year. I don't try to play professionally anymore casue it's taking up to much time. I may try again next year but i've taken a break for the 2009 season. I know a lot on the subject of MLG. I will probably take the broad idea of MLG. Give a brief history, show were they're at now and were they want to go. So it will just be the broad topic of MLG. Should be pretty fun to do.

At approximately 6:40 PM today, Monday, February 16, 2009 a male subject was observed exposing himself and masturbating on the second floor of the NDSU Library.
The suspect is described as a black male, clean shaven, in his mid-20\'s, trim build about 5 foot 10 inches, nicely dressed in a khaki colored hip length jacket, with a dark plaid golf hat, dark gray pants, with a black laptop case over his shoulder. There were no words spoken nor were there any physical acts or threats towards anyone in the Library.
Anyone having information relating to this suspect is urged to contact the NDSU University Police at 701-231-8998. This transmission is authorized by the University Police and is being transmitted by the Communications Call Center.

St. VaLANtines Day

Well this past weekend i was supposed to fly out to New York City to an interview for MLG and go to a LAN at a friends house. Well that didn't happen and this weekend turned out to be as boring as every other weekend in South Dakota. I was looking forward to seeing a bunch of old friend and playing some Halo again. I'll post up the pics and video later when the get online.

On another wierd thing that happened this weekend is that 13-year-old kid who had a kid with his 15 year-old girlfriend. That's crazy and messed up. I remember when i was 13. My hardest thing in life was to kickflip down a 8-stair. Not this kid he has to raise a baby. Now there are finding out that the girl cheated on the 13 year-old kid with up to ten other people. Damn. No more to say about this subject. Heres the Link.

Everything is lined up on the left side so that's good. I like how the word "Tuition" is bigger and has it's own style so it stick out more to the eye. Everything is unique. Everything stands out well and wants the reader to read more into what the flyer has to say. I would maybe work on the spacing a little bit more. Otherwise it looks good.

I like the landscape style of the document. The big headline on the top stands out nicely. The picture of Berry is in a good place and so is the Jackrabbit logo. The text and the logo follow the same line as the picture. Everything is in line with the two lines on the page and everything flows well together.

T Oliver Tuition Flyer.

First the flyer pops out with the "Warning" on the top in the gray box. It draws you in and makes you want to read more about it. The fonts picked seem to work out nicely, they get the job done but might want to try out some other ones. The box on the bottom is small than the one on top. Not really a big deal but may want too make them the same size. It's a good flyer that points out everything.

Everything in the flyer is well aligned. The photo is in a great place. It has a nice look cause it's not centered. All the info is there. All i would change is the fonts. Pick out some fonts that stick out a little more. They just seem a little dull. They're not bad but i would pick out something that would stick out more.

So the Grammy's were last night. Unfortunately i did not watch them because U2 was the opening performer. Lost me right away. I only wanted to watch Kanye West preform and i don't even know if he did. I know Lil Wayne won some awards and i really don't know i feel about him. He is not a rap artist by far. He is more of a pop artist. I know he is going to make a rock album and that is just another opportunity from him to destroy another genre of music. I'd post a link for the leaked album but that's probably not legal. I don't like to tell people but i kinda like his music. NOT because its good, but its good to see people like him with as much passion as he does. He was a lot of good mixtapes that are way better than his albums.

Speaking of music. Chris Brown hit Rihanna. Crazy. Click Here It's crazy that he has it all and somehow can do something like that at the age of 19. What a jerk.
